We’re excited to introduce the Hardtop Cap Mount System, a bow or stern mount solution designed specifically for hardtops that use top-bolt and surface-cap fasteners. By simply replacing two of your existing surface caps with our precision-fit V-Lock Base Mounts, you can add a secure, removable shade system at the bow—perfect for relaxing or fishing in comfort.

Two V-Lock Surface Caps
Single-bolt pattern with integrated 1.5-inch OD tube inserts for quick mount connection.

One 48-inch Mount Tube
Aluminum tube, trimmable to match your hardtop contour for a perfect custom fit.

Rubber Contact Spacers & Hardware
Provides vibration isolation and clean mounting alignment.
Installation Overview

Remove two existing surface-cap bolts at the desired port or starboard position.

Install the pair of V-Lock Surface Caps loosely with the included rubber spacers.

Attach the 1.5-inch tube V-Lock inserts to the 48-inch mount tube and position over the hardtop.

Align & Tighten clamps and bolts to lock the V-Locks in place.

Connect the cantilever assembly from your standard Rocket Shādē™ bundle to the bow extension tube.
This modular system allows for quick install, removal, and storage without drilling or permanent alteration.
