Manufacturing Standards

The Rocket Shade™ marine shade system is engineered and manufactured in accordance with recognized marine industry standards. All structural components are fabricated from marine-grade anodized aluminum and UV-stabilized ASA polymers to meet ASTM B117 (salt-spray corrosion resistance) and ASTM G154 (accelerated UV exposure) specifications.

Fabric material suppliers measure by ISO 105-B02 colorfastness to light and UV, and assembled using marine-grade stainless hardware meeting ASTM A240 and A276 specifications.

Product design aligns with applicable ABYC guidelines for accessory mounting, stability, and occupant safety, and meets NMMA accessory compliance expectations for integration with certified vessels.

Shadebiz Corp. products are manufactured under continuous process quality control and material traceability protocols to ensure consistent marine performance and customer safety.  This is some nerd-level stuff that we like to do.
