We build Rocket Shādē™ to be your favorite shade system for years of boating and outdoor adventures. That’s why every Rocket Shādē is backed by our 3-Year Limited Warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.
If something isn’t right, we’ll work with you to make it right.
What’s Covered
For three (3) years from the date of your original retail purchase, your Rocket Shādē is protected against defects in materials and workmanship under normal recreational use.
Covered components include:

Umbrella – fabric, ribs, and central hub

Adjustable Cantilever – aluminum tube, joints, rotation mechanism
-
Mounting Systems – rod-holder mounts, backyard mounts, vehicle/camper mounts, and future compatible mounts
-
Injection-Molded ASA Parts
-
Stainless Steel Hardware
If a covered component fails due to a manufacturing defect during the warranty period, we’ll repair or replace it at our discretion.
What’s Not Covered
To keep things clear and fair, some types of damage are not covered by this warranty.
Not covered:

Normal wear and tear or cosmetic changes over time

Damage from improper installation or use outside our instructions

Unmonitored use in high winds or too fast speeds underway

Damage caused by collisions, storms, abuse, or accidents

Corrosion or damage caused by lack of basic care (e.g., never rinsing after saltwater use)

Modifications, unauthorized repairs, or use of non-Rocket Shādē parts
-
Commercial or rental use, unless specifically approved in writing

Warranty Period

Warranty length: 3 years from the original purchase date

Coverage applies to the original purchaser only

Proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt) is required
- Repaired or replaced parts do not restart or extend the original warranty period
How to Make a Warranty Claim
If you think you have a warranty issue, we’ve kept the process simple:

- Product details (model, color, mount type if relevant)
- A brief description of the issue
- Photos or a short video showing the problem (if possible)
Our team will review your claim and respond within 3–5 business days.
What We’ll Do
If your claim is approved, Shadebiz may, at our discretion:

Provide replacement parts at no charge

Provide a full product replacement if needed

Offer store credit if your exact product/model is no longer available
For customers in the U.S., we cover the cost of shipping warranty replacement parts
Your Responsibilities
To get the best performance and longevity from your Rocket Shādē, we ask that you:

Install and use the product according to the included instructions

Monitor the shade while the boat is underway; if it's bending or moving around, take it down
-
Avoid using the shade in strong or gusty winds
-
After saltwater use, rinse with fresh water and allow the product to dry before storage

Use only approved or recommended mounting locations and accessories
A little care goes a long way toward keeping your shade looking great and performing well for years.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights; you may also have other rights which vary by state.

Shadebiz’s responsibility is limited to repair, replacement, or pro-rated credit up to the original purchase price of the product.

Shadebiz is not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of use, loss of time, or damage to boats or other property.
