When available rod holder mounts are not directly overhead, you can use an extra long mount tube and insert the RocketShādē at waist high or gunnel level rod holders. This solution works well with hardtop runabouts or catamarans without T-tops.
This extension includes a pin clip to secure the cantilever from below a rod holder, when accessible. It also includes a 1-inch-wide strap down cap, to secure the shade system otherwise. Simply attach the strap to any convenient tie down point.
For optimum safety, the RocketShādē system should be securely anchored to avoid release during sudden high wind conditions.
The Rod Holder Tube replaces the 20-inch rod holder tube standard with the Rocket Shādē™ Cantilever.
